the meat biryanis here are to DIE for. so authentic and delicious. they really know how to cook their meats. i wouldn't recommend the veg dishes bc they are usually eh-tasing. the place is relatively dirty and rather cramped and in the shady-ish part of the city but it is worth it because the food is always so good. it's just one of those things where you know where you are and what you are getting so the other shit doesn't matter much.
i am also indian so the cooks probably didn't make my food bland as an unspoken thing. -

Honestly, compared to most Indian places this place was very average. This might be because I am myself Indian, and this place is certainly not "authentic." Overall things were less flavorful and made oddly. For example;
For example, the vegetable manchurian was really over-filled with sauce and had barely any actual manchurian pieces in it. The paneer tikka was really dry, and not all that flavorful. The paneer tikka masala was pretty good, but the texture of the gravy was a bit grainy which I haven't noticed at many other places.
The channa masala chaat was pretty good. The naan pieces however, were way too dry, which is what I think made the restaurant worse than it could have been. -

Always a great place to come to with family! They never ever disappoint! When there's a good food, good service, ANDDD family is enjoying then you know it's the right vibe.
I always get the nihari it's like my got to dish. Get some naan of course. I get it without the meat since I only like the gravy haha. Chicken tikka both with naan is flame! I love there lamb chops a lot!
Those are my go top food over there! Check them out if your in the area -

Ew, nooo, find somewhere else to eat! Lol. Even though the food was cheap, it's cheap because it's bad.
We had the spinach and cheese dinner (aloo something). It was flavorless and the naan bread was dry and hard. Oh, the rice wasn't bad I guess.
Anyway, the restaurant is in one of the many very sketchy parts of downtown. It looks like it has never seen a bottle of Windex and trust me it needs a good power wash.
I dunno. You may love it. We didn't. -

Food was OK. I like that we got to try something new. However, the plates were dirty. We had to get up and get new ones. Also, there was an altercation with a woman coming in causing a commotion and spitting or defecating on her way out. Not their fault. However, it still made us wonder about cleanliness.
